Recently had an appraisal done By Initech Appraisals. This company was chosen by the funding company I was working with. The appraiser they sent out was Eric Brandon Kent. All I can say it was a very sloppy appraisal with errors and the comps he chose did not help my value at all. I had to challenge the appraisal with the funding company and sent over three comps that were not used by the appraiser as well as send more accurate details of the home that were missed. Lots of errors in report. wrong comps not comparable year at all, building size or lot size. How an appraiser can make such mistakes on Lot size. Such a basic thing. And it is more then 1200sqf mistake.. such a sloopy work. We'll ask for the update let's see how they take this! I'll update
The report came in with several errors and did not utilize the most comparable properties in the market area. A revision was requested, and the appraiser refused to address the valid concerns and requested corrections.
