The food is beyond terrific. We started with the Nepalese pork belly, which was beautifully cooked with a mild, subtly curried flavor that perfectly complimented the pork. I had the Wild asking Salmon entrée. It was divine, a striking balance of flavors. The pork belly starter was so good, that I wish they had more Nepalese dishes on the menu. The staff were having issues with their ordering system the night we were there, but they handled it well, and we're very friendly throughout. We'll be back!
Amazing food and wonderful service!
The food was delicious! It’s a great addition to the Noe Valley collection of restaurants and it’s particularly nice to see a place pop up that goes just beyond casual dining. Everything from the tuna tataki and ceviche to the king salmon and hanger steak were cooked to perfection with high quality ingredients. Very family friendly and our server went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with our 5 month old!
We've been to Ingredients a couple of times now, and after tonight I really felt like I needed to write a review. I've lived in San Francisco for more than 30 years and have eaten all over the city, and Ingredients is genuinely one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. The food is phenomenal, but a huge part of what makes this place so special is Jackie and the level of hospitality he brings to the experience.
