Bob the manager is always rude. He doesn't have any customer service skills. He just walks around looking hateful at customers. I have never seen him greet a customer. Employees aren't trained well most wear mask below chin. Always out of what I go for. Bob needs training or replaced. I have purchased several items that were spoiled and I had to throw them away. Bad stocking. Worse ingles that I have ever shopped.
My son has been getting his check cashed here for weeks and buying gas and food because when he gets off work banks are already closed. This morning the MANAGER BOB tells him the check was invalid which was a bullshit lie. Then he tells him he doesn't recognize it which was another BULLSHIT LIE!!!! So he didn't cash it. Guess Bob is showing his true colors like a few of the other management positions have done before but that's ok Bob you can fix stupid!!!! Ingles in Lake Lure is the worst! The person at the Gas Station is rude and not at all helpful - Sadly this has got to be the worst Ingles in Western North Carolina. Except for the folks at the pharmacy - They are always great and super helpful. The rest of the store and their customer service is lousy! If Ingles in Lake Lure were not the only grocery store in Lake Lure I would never shop in that store again. When the store first opened it was great, now... the worst. The arrival of Ingles changed the Town of Lake Lure, in an extremely positive way. The store carries a huge selection for such a small community. And ... it's always clean and bright. The staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, local professionals. Take a video tour of the store by going to the Mr.Lake Lure YouTube channel.
