A great organization to work for. This is my third year as an employee of the Land Bank, and I have enjoyed every moment of it. I also live in the City of Lansing and can attest to the quality of work that this organization is doing within Lansing neighborhoods. My favorite part is engaging with community members about the future of Ingham County. Join the conversation, and get involved!

It started out that I absolutely loved it. Now, I hate it and wouldn't recommend the Land Bank route to anyone. Among other concerns, the third sump pump provided by the Land Bank failed overnight. My April Fool's wakeup was a furnace not kicking in due to standing in a foot of water. The Land Bank doesn't hold itself accountable in any way. So, a Land Bank home is a great deal when there are no problems. Headache city when problems do arise.

I haven't had any direct experience working with the Land Bank, but hear many good things from people that I have come to know, and trust their judgment (Amy H.). I'm also thoroughly impressed with the professional appearance of its web-site. The visual appearance of the renovated properties on the site is exceptional. I plan to look into the Land Bank for several friends in need of good housing at a reasonable price. jjl

Living next to a project, our driveway has been left covered in nails, the guys apparently think it's ok to use our water faucet outside without asking, (not a huge deal except it leaks into our basement right now). I have contacted the project managers several times because the contractors they hire are just plain rude and hard to work with. Tired of having my driveway blocked, I shouldn't have to ask permission to leave my own driveway.
