Great chicken and waffles, great server. Try infused collard green spring rolls and pan cornbread. Will be back, soon.
The food tastes fresh and is all out fabulous! The catfish nuggets were the best I've had. They melt in your mouth.
I was stuck in DC traffic and hungry!!! Siri brought me here and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was friendly and the bartender Christina was very helpful. I had the broiled Crabcakes, sautéed spinach, and the Mac'n cheese(think someone's Grandmother is in the back making it). I cleaned my plate. When I'm traveling through DMV I will stop again!! They do not care about the quality of the food prepared. Even after complaining, they didn't fix the problem.
The Servers need training and menu knowledge. The the ambiance and the theme is pretty shabby but hey. The Bartender was not only cranky but lacked skills and knowledge as well. We were quoted prices, etc. Only to be told when the bill came "oops I was wrong". The owner was absolutely rude, an ass and I will not support this neighborhood establishment again.

The food is very good and I have always enjoyed my selections. I even suggested it for a Class Reunion Luncheon and everyone that attended enjoyed the menu selections. I would recommend it.
The cheeseburgers are the bomb. Especially with the jalapeño peppers and raw onions.
