I finally got a lyme diagnosis after almost 3 years, but have had it 23 years or more. I had really been looking forward to finally seeing an ID dr., but had heard many unfortunate things about how ID drs do not treat lyme. Dr Hevey was a waste of my time and prooved that theory to be correct. He mentioned the "lyme wars" that is not in regards to battling the disease; but rather the stupid disputes with ID drs and other drs in regards to how to treat lyme.
