Indus Fashions came highly recommended. I had a new abaya that I purchased for my booksigning event from Philadelphia that was too long. The shop is located less than 5 minutes from my house. The owner is professional and really nice. She will definitely be my go-to seamstress.
Such an amazing collection of clothings! Quality of the fabric is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for desi styles. Found a beautiful lehenga for my dance performance and another stunning outfit for another occassion. And Shabana-ji is such a delightful lady! Customer service here is first class. The blouse for the lehenga was too big so she altered it right then and there! Will definitely be coming back here!!
My husband waited till the LAST minute to buy an suit for an Indian wedding we were going to. I had to call the shop and ask the lady if we got there right at closing time if she would mind staying for my husband to try on some suits because we were leaving tomorrow morning. My fiance and I were invited to an Indian wedding and needed the appropriate attire. The owner was delightful, provided a bounty of information, suggestions, and beautiful options to choose from, which was all fantastic as we were both very unsure what was necessary. The overall attentiveness, patience, and customer service was wonderful. Even the other customers were helpful and kind! All guests are welcomed warmly, so no need to feel out of place here. I felt a warmth and welcome when I arrived. Shabana greeted me with enthusiasm and undersood how to help me plan a costume for a performance. She was encouraging and very respectful.
