Disappointing.... and just no. No bedside manner, no interest in listening to ideas about treatment. Just wanted to give me, yet again, the same old sequestrants two other gastro's had me try that didn't work. I asked her to speak louder or move closer to me so I could hear her because I've got hearing difficulty. She did neither, just kept talking to me in a terse voice, then abruptly left the office. The End.
My daughter almost had to have a colostomy bag because of this doctor. Donepudi diagnosed her with ulcerative colitis, but when we took her to UTSW the surgeon that was repairing her prolapse said he wasn’t sure about the diagnosis. After further testing no UC! Donepudi has no bedside manner at all. I’ll drive to Dallas to avoid ever seeing this doctor!
Had a colonoscopy yesterday and I’m in great pain. They can’t see me til Friday and I’ll have to wait in their waiting room. I can barely sit now, let alone drive to the office
You’ll be lucky if she spends 5 minutes with you.Terrible bedside manner. Zero compassion. Told my mother she has cancer like she was telling her to pass the salt. Provided no information at all about the process, next steps, etc. beyond “You have cancer, I am referring you to an oncologist and surgeon”. No empathy, nothing. Neither she nor her staff explained to my Mom, what to expect as far as, “you will come back for a consultation” so my Mom made the drive all the way back to Alpine. Wasted my time and money. I never got better after going to her. She never took the time to even talk to me and try to get me well. First visit she spent maybe 2 minutes in there and sent me to schedule colonoscopy. I would never refer her to anyone.
While I was hesitant to have the procedure done, Dr. Donepudi and her staff made the whole experience as easy and professional as can be. All my concerns and questions were addressed to the fullest.
Dr. Dunepadi is wonderful! Her office staff is very professional and courteous. Debbie was amazing, she took a lot of time to explain everything in detail and really put my mind at ease, love her! I highly recommend Dr. Dunepadi, she is very knowledgeable and is a very kind and caring person. Excellent practice!
She recommended we go to a liver transplant specialist in Dallas, but had no name to give us. We were dealing with Hepatitis C and aplastic anemia, which was being treated by another doctor. She seemed afraid to treat the patient and instead of saying so, she blew things out of proportion. The patient was easily treated by a physician in Odessa. She seemed very uncaring.
