As an employee, I advise you to read the state surveys for Indigo Palms and note the bankruptcy that hangs in the hall next to the lobby bathrooms. I must raise grave concerns regarding the suitability of Indigo as a care facility for your loved ones. Despite recent renovations aimed at creating an inviting atmosphere, my experiences reveal deeply troubling issues within the establishment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PUTTING YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY. They are always Short staffed some residents aren’t getting Proper care the Building is not Properly Sanitized like it should be . They never have a Proper nurse on Duty . The facility was be ran by an Individual who only has a Med Tech certification. No nurse is ever on Duty . When a nurse is needed we are told to call an individual who is not even in the Facility. NEVER place your loved ones in this facility! Your loved ones will not survive. My father suffered from severe malnutrition, sever bed sores, was attacked frequently, his clothes and shoes were always missing. My father suffered a severe massive subdural hematoma (brain bleed) from blunt force trauma to the brain 01/17/2021 or thereabout. The injury was severe enough for him to be laying on the floor and found by staff. The fall was covered up, never reported. It’s not a 5-star glamorous establishment. It is run by a staff that cares deeply about the health and welfare of the residents living there. The Administrator is a person that knows and greets each of the residents by name. He manages a Not-for-profit facility with many years of experience and focus on the needs of his staff, the residents and their family.
