Took my sister to the er for ovarian cysts and they come out and told her she had a flu bug this place has got to be the shittiest band aid station around and worthless staff and facility the building would be better off tore down
When someone falls and passed out the had head trauma before coming to the ER to be evaluated and get a scan to make sure they don't have a brain bleed. This we only makes sure you can move your arms and legs then sends you home. Not caring for the patient and if they could have any brain bleed. With the amount of law suits this hospital has had. Came here at 12 and left for 2 hours for the same people still in the waiting room plus more people a women vomiting her life away in the lobby not one person is helping her the young healthcare workers are useless don’t come here unless your ready to transition to the gate of heaven or drive to Pittsburgh for health care or come overnight to get seen for anything faster
I went to the ER and everyone was very nice, got me back quick. I was having severe pain. Gave me torso. Had a ct, no ekg, I have an autoimmune disease. Eventually, PA told me everything was fine, probably Gerd. She said she would send meds including a pain medication. Nope.Toradol would be okay. But the problem is I have fatty liver. She didn’t tell me. It was on the CT. Pure gaslighting and neglagent
Professional patient here. Had such a terrible visit almost 2 years ago that I have never returned to IRMC ER. They definitely broke some rules concerning people with disabilities and proper care of an individual following major surgery. Instead, they allowed me to lie there for 9 hours with no pain medication or hydration. They chose to conduct a full panel drug test instead of helping me.
