I went in there with a crisis. Do you know how they "helped" me? They called CYF. That is their way of helping. They have 0 compassion. They do not care. They are rude. They are nkt there for the patients. Luckily, I dont mind CYF. They are good people who actually do care. And CYF is no harm to me. But that wasn't why the call was made. It was because I was judged and profiled. The place needs good people with good hearts. Really.
Everyone who treated me at the IRMC emergency room was very kind and helpful.
just while i'm hearing the er is packed, don't forget! you can complain to department of health and human services if your medical care isn't up to par or if you're straight up mistreated. look at PA's dhs website or call them for more info :) anyway i have never had a good experience here and wishing everyone the best rn.
If there is something truly wrong, take an ambulance literally anywhere else. You will not receive the care you need and deserve.
