I have used many different vets for my animals throughout my lifetime of being a pet owner. Indian River Animal Hospital has been my only vet for the past 3 years. The first time going there I felt completely welcomed and could instantly see their love and compassion for our four legged family members. When my Bull Mastiff was diagnosed with a serious illness they were honest about what the outcome could be. I recently had to put down my beloved PepperAnne. She was a bassett mix who we adopted as a puppy. She was 13. Dr. Johnson found that she had breast cancer when I took her in to get her nails clipped. We were able to keep her for another month but I knew when it was time. The entire staff of Indian River Hospital was so caring and understanding of my loss. I have never been in their office that I wasn't happy with any staff member I came in touch with.
