We went for 2 appointments. The PT was unprofessional, dismissive, argumentative, and incompetent. My 6 year old son, who is mostly nonverbal with an Autism diagnosis and scoliosis, due to having lived his first 5 years of life with a tethered spinal cord, was referred for PT following his tether release surgery to stretch out his spine. During the first appt, the PT acted out of her scope of practice stating me and my son had PTSD (she is not a licensed mental health provider and should not be making comments like that).
