Read before going there! I had a very disappointing experience at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital. My husband brought our cat in on May 27 and waited from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., yet only one test was performed and no diagnosis, treatment plan, or meaningful care was provided. I was in urgent need of a Veterinarian , with multiple other crisis all happening at the same time. I was referred to Dr. Nigerian at the Santa Anita Veterinary hospital. I have 3 dogs. I have been a client of Sunrise Veterinary for over 5 years. This office is a pure MONEY GRAB. They care very little for your pet. Not to mention the ridiculous wait to see the vet. I brought in my 16 year old pit bull. The vet kept offering ridiculous suggestions for her age. I was given 2 very expensive medications which might have actually made her worse. I can't say enough for the excellant care my pets have received over the years, from the assistants to Dr. Danboise. You can tell they love the animals. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that they wanted almost 52.00 to trim my kittens nails. That's after i spent alot of money to treat my older cats infected face from the kitten scratching his face.
I had a very bad experience at Madera Pet Hospital. I gave a one star not negative stars because the bratty, immature Vet Elena de Morelos was willing to see my cat early. It was not okay the way she treated me and my cat. I am a long time customer of over thirty years. She said something mean during the appointment and it got worse from there. The VCA Wellington Hospital in Newtown Square offered and charged our daughter $70 for a Rabies shot, which was already covered at the SPCA when we bought her a new kitten. The Manager there said they were given my contact info from the SPCA and the kitten's medical records, except the one that stated a rabies shot was already covered and scheduled. I will start off by saying that Dr. Jeanett is awesome, but the front staff is so inept and this issue started several years ago. I asked them not to continually send us emails, texts and calls trying to get us to schedule our pets more than once a year, but it is all a money grab. I have always gotten their shots together, but they try to make you come in every 6 months by claiming your pet needs a shot and then you have to do the exam to get the shot.
