I came here for lunch today with two friends, who are vegan, and a 7 month old who is getting used to high chairs. Everyone was soooooo nice!! The hostess/server put on flashy music videos to occupy my son and once they heard that two of our party was vegans, they said they were worried they didn't have enough vegan dishes on the buffet (they totally did, btw!) and the chef brought out some vegan dishes he made especially for them. This was my first time here and it was an amazing first impression. I will definitely be back.

Tasty food nice service
I have loved coming to Indian Cuisine since the 1990’s. The food and service have both been great at the current and previous locations and throughout multiple changes of management. The current management is very friendly and attentive. I love how they have a buffet all day on Saturday. I really like how open the restaurant feels and how nicely spaced the tables are. It’s much easier to have a conversation at this restaurant than at other local Indian restaurants. I highly recommend it!
Hillside Indian Cuisine offers amazingly authentic tasting Indian food offerings.. all communities in portage and Kalamazoo visit this cuisine. Several students from western Michigan University celebrate their graduations and parties at this restaurant. There is buffet offered at Hillside Indian Cuisine on Saturday and Sunday. I and my family visit hillside Indian cuisine often. Every time we have enjoyed and excellent tasting food and very good customer service by the executives.
I’m from Chicago, would like to be here whenever I get a chance.
