Can a chocoholic give up her vice? Probably not…but she can be open to other desserts now and again. So I decided to sample a few different sweets at the India Kitchen buffet. Pretty impressive. My fave: the gulab jamun, a small, smooth ball that tastes like a honey-drenched pancake. There’s also a sweet, textured carrot pudding (gajar halwa), a light rice pudding (kheer), and a cool, refreshing mango vanilla pudding studded with pieces of fruit. There’s always time for chocolate later.
