Without a doubt: The Best! – Every dish is a delight! Delivery all over Capitol Hill... We order in at least twice a month! Try the Mali Kofta, it's sublime. Not a place you want to go if you're looking for a fancy surrounding.. but it's the best if you're hunkering for some great Indian food!
Capitol Hill's Finest Indian Food – I've been on a search for the finest Indian food on Capitol Hill, and I've finally found it...India Express. The quality and service are incredible. The flavor of the Chicken Tikki Massala and the Chicken Vindaloo are wonderful. Also, the entree's have large portions of meat that are cartilage and fat free. Great value! – I'm an Indian food addict, and so far, India Express is my favorite in Seattle. The meal price includes rice, they have a wonderful vegetarian selection, and everything is flavorful and delicious. I particularly recommend their Malai Kofta . . . undoubtedly the best I've ever had.
Consistent Quality – This place has absolutely great, friendly service and a great menu. The menu prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is pretty casual; it's definitely not a fancy night out on the town type of place. I enjoyed the Saag Paneer. The amount of spiciness you can order on most entrees is on a sclae of 1 to 5. I found 4 to be nice and peppy, but others found it way too hot. I was a little disappointed with the lunch buffet.
