Divorced situation aside (she's certainly not at fault for that), She has been extremely helpful so far. Dr. Coughlin appears to me to be extremely adept at understanding complex problems and reading motivations. She has been effective at drastically reducing conflict and increasing cooperation between my daughter's mother and me.
My family has had to use Dr. Coughlin three times over a decade-long high conflict divorce punctuated and defined by substance abuse. I have been on "both sides" of Dr. Coughlin's ire. However, I use the "both sides" in scare quotes because I strongly believe now that Dr. Coughlin only chooses one side, and that side has nothing to do with the adults in the room, but the children ordered under her care by the court. False diagnosis made with a mental health history that never existed from 2006 when I never went to the doctor that year. Never had a mental health issue. Her recommendation: “I would benefit from institutionalization.” Computer testing kept freezing and stopped before I completed the “testing”.
