My business began a relationship with Independent Lift Truck after a very positive initial encounter. This led us to buy a forklift from them with just 1000 hours on it and a warranty, we've put 400 hours on it in three years and it has had issues on a regular basis. When the check engine light was chronically lit, we had to call several dozen times to get it looked at. It took 6 months to receive any service. We had a good customer experience with them originally. Then it took over 6 months for them to address a warranty issue. After that warranty service it took just 20 hours of motor runtime later for the head gasket to fail. This is obviously a coincidence and not related to their service. But we bought a machine with 1000 hours on it, we've put 500 hours on it in four years and it has had issues on a regular basis. Good place to work at an its ex going work
Do NOT use any other Forklift/Lift truck company in the state. Independent Lift Truck is the best hands down. They're easy to work with, very knowledgeable, communicate clearly and give a fair price on their work. Working with Independent was a night and day difference compared to the other guys.
