I will say that when I called the corporate headquarters the lady I spoke to Tobi was very friendly. However, I am a veteran and the VA takes forever sometimes to pay what they are supposed to outside agencies. Someone over in billing decided it was a great idea to just go ahead and send it over to collections and now I have to use my time that I could be doing something much more productive, to run down why it went over to collections and get it taken care of. Worst place to deal with when you have to go to the ER
Took my son in to Henry Ford Allegiance ER for stitches on his hand. I told everyone possible that I didn't want an IEP doctor bcuz of the huge cost and knowing that I couldn't afford it. So my son was seen by nurse practitioner that assured me he didn't work for IEP. A week later I get a bill for $1061.00 bcuz the IEP Dr. had to listen to the NP's description of the injury and tell the NP to proceed with stitches and write a script for Motrin.
