Just finished my second year in their apprenticeship program. The program has been a huge benefit in learning the electrical code in a structured way that I doubt most people could achieve on their own in such a short time. I look forward to the next 2 years in the program. If your interested in becoming an electrician I definitely recommend applying for the program.
I am a proud graduate and have been blessed to be able to remain a part of the organization over the years. I believe their instructors and board members are serious about the next generation of electricians. The IEC, specifically Dale Martinson, Darrin West and others have made the entire experience more than just a trade school and organization. I am currently attending this school. The new director keely is extremely helpful and has done many things to help make the students life easier. She responds quickly, is helpful, and super nice. So far the teachers have also been friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. Overall a good experience.
The IEC staff was very helpful in locating out of state member contractors for us.
