Our check engine light came on while we were driving through Ellensburg on our way from Seattle to Boise. They had our problem diagnosed, fixed and we were back on the road in less than an hour! Very grateful!
RecommendedChris at Independent Auto Repair took very good care of my son's car. He had it diagnosed within an hour and also offered us two choices on how to have the car fixed. One was expensive and one was cheap. He could've just said the expensive way was the only option. This shop is not out to gouge your pocket. They are honest and want to help their customers. Honest shop. Limped into town on my way to Seattle with a bad sound from the timing belt area of my Subaru. Grabed a hotel and started calling auto shops in the morning. Chris got me in and started working on it. Before I got back to the hotel, Chris called to say it was the AC compressor going bad. To get me back on the road he took the AC belt off so I could safely drive home and get the AC fixed when I had more time. A dishonest shop would have sold me the the timing belt kit and said the AC was bad also. Great place.
