They never wanted to fix anything and would come in without knocking even whenever I asked for them to knock first and not just come in. Made moving out extremely hard and tried to shake us down for money constantly. Tried to charge us a cleaning fee whenever the apartment was absolutely disgusting when my husband and I moved in, when I stated that I wanted a copy of the cleaning receipt from before they said they didn’t need to provide it. Love Stephanie and Tyler both great ladies. We've lived at independence place for a year and six months with no issues! Great staff and community.
This place is a joke. The management here does nothing, I mean nothing, if you have a problem, good luck they act like it is a bother to them to help you. The walls are paper thin, cars don't move for months on end. Oh and the bugs around fall/spring time, not the ones ya want to come in. They also don't do anything about them.
Worst place to live. They came in my apartment when I was moving out without permission stole things and went through all my stuff and deny all of it. I filled a police report since they said it wasn’t them. The manager is a joke and doesn’t even know what’s going on in her own complex. The drugs and drinking and partying in the hallways all hours of the night was the last straw. We were lied to from the moment we moved in. So glad to be gone from there. And the attitude from the people at the office is unreal
