Recommendedit's the best racetrack. I've been going there since I was a kid. my grandfather, dad, and uncle used to race there. I love going to the races. I used to go there every week with my grandparents to watch the races and watch my favorite racer, Greg Kastli.
Great place to spend good quality family time with good entertainment love going to the races in Independence friendly staff members top notch concessions.

This is one of my favorite tracks in the state. Great sight lines. Well organized. Fair prices. Good car counts. What more can you ask for?
Glad we didn’t listen to the reviews! We travelled all week and Independence was by far our favorite. The staff was amazing and the drivers were very friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Last night was my first trip to an Iowa dirt track. I had a blast at Independence Speedway. I thought the racing was really good. It's disappointing to read all the negative comments. I agree that a little more banking would probably help, and that there seemed to be only one good groove, and turn one had a bit of a rut issue. But - the drivers did a great job, and it was exciting and fun to watch. The announcers did a great job - very personable and entertaining. The facility is very nice. I will definitely be back!
