We were under contract on a home and days before closing were told there was a $12,000 lien that had never been disclosed. Instead of resolving it, the seller’s agent tried to push us to pay it. The property was then taken off the market and relisted in a way that made it seem like escrow issues ended the deal, which was not accurate. Overall, the experience lacked transparency and professionalism and money was lost on our side due to their negligence.
