I rented from Incentive Properties for approximately five years. My experience with the move-out process was extremely disappointing. After moving out, I was charged $7,505.71 for various items, despite having lived in the apartment for several years. My $1,200 security deposit was applied toward those charges, and the remaining $6,305.71 was sent to collections. Just recently moved out from a unit. I honestly didn’t have much problems with them over the 2 years. My issue came when more than half of my deposit was taken with ridiculous charges. I expected some at baseline but there were extreme overcharges. One or two items they deducted they did not provide picture evidence for. They never did a move in checklist nor did they do a move out checklist. I did provide pictures and video of the unit and I hope to recoup some of the overcharges. This has been the worst property management company I have dealt with. Sherry managed my property for several years, and unfortunately, the management was extremely poor. She failed to properly monitor the tenant's rental payments and may not have even collected the rental bond at the beginning of the tenancy. The monthly rent was frequently paid late or was short, yet these issues were not managed effectively. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! if I can just save one person from renting with this company, it will be worth it. They are all liars, crooks and thieves. The owner of the building I live in has been charging us for mold that is inside of the walls but their version of a repair was to paint over the hole. We have not had a working washing machine in over a year and today in the middle of June we have come home and our air-conditioning is off and has a blown compressor. We are told. After move out, they charge us a lot of things that already existed. Good thing we have pictures and were now proceeding legal actions. I would tale pictures before time of move in to be sure if you are using this property management
