Brian collects a non-refundable pet fee from the tenants and claims it goes towards an “insurance policy.” Upon further questioning we discovered that he actually keeps that money—not the owner! He says this “ I'm also not sure what you mean by you own this and not me but I think you're saying that you own the pet fee that the tenant paid? If that's what you're saying that's not correct per the now expired management agreement, This would have been used to buy into the insurance for the duration of the management agreement..... read more
If you are in the military and considering using them to manage your property while you’re away, I would reconsider. READ YOUR CONTRACT—have a lawyer read it as well!! Brian made some questionable authorizations for insurance repairs, and when we complained he promptly ended our contract. He charges a nonrefundable pet fee which he alleges goes into insurance policy. However, he admitted that it’s not a true insurance fund. It’s actually a pool in office.
