Right off the bat, this place smelled suffocatingly my of ammonia. I’ve been to several hair salons before that dye hair, and they did not have this smell. I almost left at that point, but I had already made the drive there so decided to just stay. Then the man who was going to work on my hair offered for me to sit on a chair FULL of so much hair. I have a rough semi curly hair texture that is very thick. Feng does great straight and curl perms for someone like me who has hair that tends to puff up. I get a low maintenance hairstyle that looks amazing every time with just a blow-dry. It’s a huge time saver and looks great. Ask for Feng when you stop by!
I got my hair cut on a whim due to wanting a fresh start for the lunar new year. I really had no clear vision of what would look good on me but was able to find some clear inspiration pictures on Pinterest. Peng was very helpful in helping me come to a decision! The haircut: Peng was my stylist and I believe he did a great job. He was very approachable and skilled. We started with a hair wash, blow dry.
