The last Thursday April 3 my daughter only three years old was locked in the bathroom for over 15 minutes alone in the dark for neglect of this place until now we have not got no explanation to answer this incident now she is so emotionally affected every night. OMG..what an awesome group of people...I'm so glad I became a member at In-Shape/Dover in Fairfield, Ca...Everyone was up front with me regarding signing up as a member, getting connected with a trainer & the overall flow of the gym. terrible customer service., specially when i tried to quit ,all employees acted dump and they didnt have the form that i ll need to fill (a whole month ahead of the quitting date),i insisted on getting it ,i did and i filled it but i was told that i ll still need to come back to meet the location manager ,dont know why!! also was told that matt the manager will give me a call to follow up,sure he didnt. so i called to talk to him i got to talk to his assistant who took all my info and put me on hold for good 15 minutes till ... read more
Besides all the equipment and facilities I want and being one of the cleanest and best maintained clubs I've used, In Shape, Monterey, has a friendly, attentive and *responsive* staff. From management to custodial personnel these guys have responded immediately to my needs and requests or have given me answers concerning situations that could not be readily handled. It is rare that I'm not addressed by name, with a smile. I recommend this Gym without reservation.

Awesome trainers waiting and willing to help you reach your fitness goal! Always clean! Plenty of workout stations and equipment! Lots of different classes at different times to suit everyone! Love this place!
Horrible Customer Service!! Beyond Unacceptable! !!The managers either don't know what they're doing or are lying to get you to pay for additional months. If you join, be aware that cancelation will be a looong, drawn out, and painful experience. Each interaction will just get more and more frustrating! I do not recommend it, for the fees you'll pay ..you'll deserve WAY better service than they are willing to provide
