Worst hospice ever!!!! I hate I didn’t go with AEGIS HOSPICE. First their #1 nurse tried to convince me that Aspirin and Eliquis do the exact same thing instead of just saying “we’d like to stop the Eliquis because Hospice doesn’t cover it that’s all she had to say little did she know I’m in the medical field and have been for 30 years. On a separate occasion, she told my sister that every patient that she comes across with this company they die immediately two weeks later my mother was dead. This company sucks. I have worked for in my home hospice for several months now as an RN case manager, I left a bigger hospice to join this team. In my home hospice care has the most loving and supportive leadership team I have ever encountered; the owner Gary is available at any time to employees as well as hospice/home health families he even participates in all of our meetings you do not find that with bigger companies.
