I was under Dr. Hassan's care for about half a year for a pilonidal surgery and recovery. Never having had this kind of surgery before, I had a lot of questions and concerns about not only the surgery but the recovery process. He is a great listener, took the time to answer all questions, and always took great care during the numerous check up appointments that followed the surgery. Dr. Hassan performed a colonoscopy and I was not given adequate sedation. I informed 6 staff members (including the doctor) that I had a twisted colon. I wanted to receive adequate sedation. I had to endure excruciating pain even while crying and begging for more sedation. This was a very aggressive procedure and I received very poor care. I am sad to say that I had a very traumatic experience under Dr. Hassan's care.
Dr Hassan would be the first and only doctor that I would call for any surgical need that I had. I have been under his care for two years and have immense respect for him.
