Should check out the video we tagged Imperial Palace in. Very little filling in the fried wontons & just a little bit more filling in the crab rangoons, but not much. Fried rice was cold & coconut shrimp had no flavor. They rely on the canned pineapple, they put in the coconut shrimp, to give it any flavor. I will give props to the egg drop soup and shrimp egg foo yung. both were hot & flavorful. https://m.facebook.com/story.php…

We ate here in January 2009 and it was the most unpleasant experience we've ever had in Lincoln. First, we sat for 25 minutes waiting to be served in a nearly empty restaurant. Then the waitress came and was so rude we could hardly believe she was employed there. We thought maybe were we on a Candid Camera episode! The first course was our appetizers and they were cold, and the hot and sour soup tasted like it was about 2 weeks old. I literally spit it out into my napkin. When I complained about the soup, the waitress all of... read more

World class service and great Chinese food A fabulous Lincoln Chinese Restaurant. The service is amazing. We regularly ordered take-out from there. They knew who we were when we called and would know what we were going to order and would throw in some free egg drop soup. Great service, plenty of seating, never had to wait very long to eat.

The minute you walk in to the Imperial Palace, you feel that you are the most important person in the restaurant. Stanley Jou, the owner works very hard to be the best there is, and it definitely shows. His friendliness and genuine interest in his customers is a huge asset. There are daily lunch specials on a separate menu from the dinner selections. Everything I've had there has been very delightful. The portions are generous, and the staff are always ready with take-away containers so you can have another meal at home. A C... read more

This is a very nice restaurant. It's nice to have food prepared fresh for you instead of all the standard mass produced "Chinese" entrees you find at the numerous Chines buffet places in town. The overall atmosphere is nice, too; it was very peaceful and relaxing. My only suggestion would be to open up a second restaurant on the east side of town-with all the new commercial buildings going up on and around 84th and 70th Streets, I'd love to see a good Chinese place like yours open up a little closer to home!! (Location is th... read more

The Imperial Palace The Imperial Palace has the best Chinese food in Lincoln, hands down. The quality of the food is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. That is a little hard to find in Chinese resaurants. With so many great choices on the menue, it's the perfect place to go with friends where each person orders a separate dish and then everyone shares. Each meal tastes as though it was prepared individually with care; the food never resembles Chinese buffet fare, where the standard is same meat, different sauce over and... read more

World's best Hot and Sour Soup The imperial palace in Lincoln has what is arguably the worlds best hot and sour soup. I have tried the soup at many other chinese restaurants but none compares the the soup at this restaurant. The Imperial Palace is a Lincoln Tradition -the exterior is a striking white with red trim and pagodas. The General Tso's chicken is also very good.
