Once you get your final settlement sheet, forget anymore communication with the builder. Won t respond to text, e mails, phone calls. Will direct you to his suppliers, sub contractors who for the most part are also unprofessional. Will delay until the warranty runs out. In my case, never put in paperwork for warranty, so it became irrelevant. If a custom built home is your largest investment, choice your builder wisely.
