Can't believe this got good reviews – After seeing the 5 star rating on google maps when looking for a good chinese food place nearby, I thought this would be a winner. WRONG! This place was average to poor food quality. The General Tso's Chicken was disgusting (ate one piece and left the rest for garbage, and wife did the same). Crab rangoons were not that great (my wife loves them usually- this is the first place she's really complained about). Chicken and brown rice was bland. Good chinese food – We like this restaurant for family groups as they can accomodate large parties. Food is good but not exceptional. Good wait staff
Awesome! – This is authentic chinese food! This quaint restaurant has excellent service, large portions, and excellent dishes. Being vegetarian, I am very wary of chinese restaurants because most don't consider chicken stock as meat. When I ordered Moo Shoo Vegetables and told the waitress I'm vegetarian she said "ok, we'll be sure not to use the stock". When the staff know the details of the kitchen it shows that everyone works together to make a great experience not only for themselves, but for the patrons, too.
Above Average! – Excellent servce, cozy and intimate atmosphere. A great place to go for a quiet dinner. The hot and sour soup is fabulous and the food is fresh and plentiful.
10 years plus of excellet food. – I've been eating IG since the mid 90's. Their food is top notch and a great value. Many Chinese restaurants cut corners when it comes to food quality, IG does not. My favorite dish is their Chicken Wings. They are maninated and then fried, absolutely amazing. I have not had a dish that dissapointed. Like others have said, they will make almost anything. Terrific people, (usually) good food – Probably the friendliest, nicest staff you'll find anywhere. That alone is worth a visit. The food is usually good, but not consistently so. The spring rolls are an exception; they're always great. The other dishes wildly vary depending on the day you visit. More than once we've had a dish where they appeared to have forgotten a key ingredient (imagine an order of sesame chicken arriving without any hint of sweetness whatsoever - basically just soy sauce). Very Good! – I am very glad that my family found this restaurant. There is no other Chinese Restaurant that I have found around here that can make me authentic dishes. If you ever want anything traditional, you can call and ask their head chef to make you just about anything you may crave. The food made me feel like I was back home in Hong Kong. The service was very nice as well. I really recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great, authentic chinese food!
THE BEST!!! – This place is the best Chinese Restaurant that I have ever been. Those big, chain non-authentic places can't even compare to this place. Love it!
