I don't know what this place was like in 2012, but it's certainly not the same as those other reviews. I do know that it's been renovated since then. I moved here in April 2021, and I like it very much. My apartment was nearly spotless when I moved in, including the appliances. The only bugs I've ever seen are 1 spider and ladybugs. Way too many ladybugs! But definitely not roaches, as they spray for pests once a month. I am giving them one star only because of location. This place is horrible. I lived here from 2007 until 2014 and yes I have seen all of the many staff that has come and gone. I will go on record to say that every comment made about the Assistant Manager Carina. She is a joke. She runs everyone and does try to use intimidation. I lived here because I had no other options at the time with my 4 children. The harassment level was thru the roof. I never was able to have a single order completed to have anything fixed. I looked at the reviews others wrote, and I had to make an account so that I could comment on how inaccurate the majority of the information is. PLZ READ ALL... I have been living at Beechwood for over 2yrs now, and the good thing about being here is that you are not far from a good school district (for young & older kids) food, the park, shopping, groceries store, pretty much whatever you could need, and if you dont work in the area or just wanna get out, the highway is less than 5min away. This place is not got kids. There are shootings and my boyfriend watched his best friend Get shot in the neck and carried Him to paramedics. They are always selling Drugs and the office doesn't care at all. It's best to stay to your self. I live there and my kids have been removed by Dcs due to gang life and violence out there.my 3 year old has bad dreams and covers his ears whenever he hears loud noises. It does need to be burned down.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! I have been waiting a year for floors, stove, dishwasher to be fixed. Still waiting on screens on my windows and blinds. Garbage disposal was recently fixed, bet it won't last a week. Because of a faulty pipe, my closets have filled with water, destroying many important things. I go to the office to see eyes rolled and rushed out. Assistant manager is extremely rude and rare to see her in a good enough mood to even be comfortable to talk to her. RUN don't walk away! The place is infested with cockroaches. The windows and outer walls allow cold drafts when anywhere near them. The office staff and the maintenance are rude and unhelpful. The handicapped parking spaces are too narrow to properly open your car door. The incense they burn in the lobby is hell for anyone with allerrgies. Altogether this is the worst place I have ever lived. I'm getting out of here!

You need to see this and this is a nice place to go.
