I love this neighborhood spot so much! They have wonderful beer options on draft, as well as many N/A options and snackies. I appreciate the community vibes they bring to the area through their events, special offerings, etc. And, also, the people who run and staff this spot are so cool and kind. We are lucky to have Imperial Bottle Shop in Richmond—they are the kind of small biz that makes a neighborhood feel truly special.
Really wanted to like this place. Good atmosphere, good selection. Had a handful of bad interactions with the same bartender and felt super unwelcome so stopped coming here. It seems like if you’re not already a regular, there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll be completely ignored.
The owner is standoffish and not very friendly. Not a mandate by any means, but neither is coming back.
Fun place but outside bartender is rude and condescending.
