My family of 17 members booked Impastato's for the first seating on Mother's Day. Naturally, the restaurant was packed. Even on a holiday the food was delicious, the service was better than expected with so many customers, and every dish was hot and fresh. The holiday menu listed varied selections to meet the tastes of everyone and the children's orders came early. We weren't rushed at all. We couldn't expect any more on such a chaotic day. We love this restaurant.
The food was excellent, the service was great. For group of 100 or more I thought they did an excellent job getting the food out, everything was hot and enjoyable. The staff was very pleasant and tended to our requests immediately. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Went tonight after a long day at Jazzfest. Ordered calamari but was told "he" doesn't do it after 6 on Saturday. My capellini with meatball had last week's gloppy sauce. My friend's veal had a long black hair in it (she's blonde). Salad was horrible and the waitress was origin. My sister talked with the owner and he could have cared less. Will never go again. Apparently the Impastato's think they have the market cornered on Italian food. It was horrible!
Not a great experience , had the four course meal the pasta that came out was not good I could have made that at my house, the so-called salad was terrible it was three leaves of romaine a small tomato slice in half and some kind of house dressing that was so salty it made it disgusting. The best food and atmosphere around! It is one of the most romantic places and the staff is exceptional! We LOVE Mr. Joe and his way of making you feel like family. Recommend to everyone, young and old!!!
