Darryl was amazing! He listened to me express my feelings about something traumatic I had experienced and he was extremely understanding. He didn't make me feel bad about what I experienced and he was very supportive. He normalized my feelings and acknowledged the impact this event had on me.

I had four tele visit sessions with Daryl and each time I left feeling worse than I already felt. During an evaluation when giving an example of a previous situation his response was that I should have done more without getting the full story of the situation. When mentioning that over the years I have had to become very aware of myself and situations I was asked “well then why do you need therapy?” Each session started late and ended early. I had a wonderful experience with this social worker until I had cancelled an appointment due to a work emergency and instead of taking an appointment that he had indicated he was available, he declined it and said he was going to charge me $50 for the cancellation. I am not going back and making a complaint to NYS State Education Department for this. I needed to work through some issues and this had caused me more problems.
