Be it ever so humble, there's no place like Imlee for fine Indian fare. – In Short Imlee is a pretty little place, in a nondescript, plain Jane sort of way. It's neat and tidy and seems to be a favorite with locals. From the first bite of warm, chewy naan or crisp, positively addictive pakoras it's apparent that the kitchen here pays serious attention to detail. Frying is expertly done in fresh, clean oil; sauces are riotously seasoned without sacrificing subtlety and balance.
Everything's good - try the eggplant – While visiting Miami on business, friends from India took me to Imlee (and took me way out of the way to do so). Imlee's now on my list of great restaurants to visit in Miami for work or pleasure, but it was packed for dinner -- I learned that lunch is a smaller crowd. I think they accept reservations, so I'd recommend them.
Best Indian Food in Miami – Good Indian restaurants are far and few between in Miami. Imlee is spectacular from the decor to the service to the food. Everything is fresh and leaves you with a immense feeling of satisfaction.
Imlee Restaurant – The bread alone is simply exquisit, and the overall place is very charming. The owners are alway around and be glad to show you the special clay oven they have and the kitchen. The food is full of flavor and very well presented. The mango and pistaccio ice cream (made by one of the brothers (owners) of the restaurant, is a chef and studied in switzerland!!) we are talking a serious delicacy, a must on the first visit. Great Romantic Restaurant – Imlee is a great, spectacular, romantic restaurant. The owner/staff have great values and wish the best for their clients. The food is out of this world, from the hot and tasty bread to the delicious dessert, you will find that everything has a fantastic taste. Forget putting sauce on your meat, once you take a bit into the meat, you will see that it has all the flavors that a dish should have.
