I was disheartened with the care that my three sick children received under Doctor Huerta's care as well as the staff at Heathway. My wife went with the 3 little ones for a scheduled appointment she called ahead and told them she would be running late. Dr. Huerta is the most thoughtful and engaged doctor. She always goes above and beyond.
Extremely upset with the care that my daughter received by this dr. I took her in because she had drainage in her eyes to the point that she couldn’t open her eye. She also had a cough and lots of congested she pretty much told me it was a cold and she would get over it. Never checked her eyes or nose. I followed up the day after because my daughter woke up worse with all drainage in her eyes the nursed checked with the doctor and she said it’s a viral infection and she needs to fight it on her own. We love add Huerta and drive out of our way to see her. We never feel rushed or limited on our time with her. She answers all our questions and takes interest in our son and entire family. I saw the negative post below and felt compelled to let people know that it’s not an accurate portrayal of her practice. I’ve never felt like she would not provide medication to my son if he needed it.
