I did not have a good experience with the structural team so did many others. They treat designers and engineers very poorly. Shouting and disrespecting employees are not uncommon even though my direct supersisor was not unprofessional. Yet I didn’t have the stomach to witness all the abuse before me! Structural managers are fairly young, inexperienced and scrooge, cutting corners from every aspect of your pay and the project budget yielding unreasonably intense work pressure.
