Lots of natural yarn, with little sample of knitting
I just started crocheting and the store is stocked with plenty of beginner level materials as well as plenty of educational books. The attendants working there are always very helpful when I go in and it feels good to shop at a small local store rather than ordering online.
If you want yarn, a serious knitter, or a beginner (they have classes too), knitting and crochet accessories, patterns, samples, it's all here. The quality of yarn, the blends, dyes, textures, is superb. Not the yarn you find at Walmart, Michael's, former Joanne's. Can see even the staff knitting or showing what they made, and are wearing them. Lots of eating places in and near Castro, Church, around. Parking in neighborhood.
Massive selection that is incredibly well-organized, and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Really sweet store.
I saw many customers there. Lots of different varieties of yarn. I saw cool yarn like t-shirt yarn, ombre, and fluffy yarn. The staff even let me borrow their toilet.
