I've worked with IWV for years and would recommend their products.
Many years ago I purchased a dental x-ray sensor from a company called AFP that happened to be located right across the Tappan Zee bridge (as it was then called) from me. That sensor lasted a good 10 years and was a workhorse. AFP was sold to a company now called ImageWorks. About 2 years ago I traded in the still functional AFP sensor and sprang for the new generation sensor $6,000 and the image quality was immensely improved...until it began to function intermittently and finally not at all.
