Sitting here at this barbershop pondering is this how it goes in black barbershops. Walk in no greeting even though everyone looks up. There is no way to know who is next for any particular barber. I've been sitting here for 30 minutes withour one person giving any confirmation that our time would be anytime soon in a shop with 7 barbers. Maybe I'm just not aware of black barber protocol. Do u just jump up when a seat becomes empty? Or do I simply call out in desparation " Can I get a cut?" Somebody tell me how this goes so ... read more
