Well, thier job is NOT giving people the benefits they clearly deserve so a horrible review is in order. I have Severe Spinal Stenosis after 25yrs of keeping people's cars and trucks safely on the road apparently isn't SSI/SSD worthy!?😟🫤😕 I wonder if I were an illegal and NOT a white male citizen who's actually contributed to his community for over a quarter century?
TLDR: They don’t care about you, and they will break HIPPA to flirt with you. My experience with the psychologist was actually pretty standard, and that gave me false hope. Unfortunately, my experience with the standard doctor for the physical was absolutely horrible. When I was initially scheduled for my physical, the doctor didn’t show up, so I had to reschedule for 5 weeks later. The rescheduled appointment comes, and I am RUSHED out of it. I got in to my appointment earlier. The Doctor went over everything on my chat and asked a lot of questions. She made me feel very comfortable.
I was very respectful and on time for my appointment. The female doctor came in, scoffed at me before saying a word, and proceeded to not check anything regarding the injury I was there for. Extremely unprofessional environment and the negative attitude they displayed was unbearable. When you see IMA Group on your appointment information, call the VA and reschedule with another provider.
My experience was mostly good. Staff were kind, caring (I was actively having a POTs episode while waiting, the psych evaluation and physical evaluation both had evaluators that seemed to listen and understand. Only issue I had is the nurse initially took my PulseOx and my heart rate was in the 150s due to a POTs flare up. She took it again, registered it in the 130s and left it on until it dropped in the 120s.
