I had a very bad surgical outcome when Dr. Ilyas said he “did bad math” related to my cataract surgery. I had had prior Lasix surgery and he did not compensate for that situation. He ignored my phone calls after that and the office staff was rude when I tried to communicate with him
Bedside manner is Great. Office Staff and Dr. Ilyas are out to make money. Office is doesn't care about, you as the patient. They just want to make money off you.
I am so happy with the results of my cataract surgery!
I had a cataract affecting 1 eye and with mono vision, my reading vision had become blurred. Dr Ilyas removed my cataract on inserted a new lens and I can now see perfectly without glasses! From start to finish, I had a perfect painless experience without any problems and was back to work within a few days. The entire staff was attentive, and explained every step throughout the procedure. My procedure was not typical, and Dr Ilyas was very knowledgeable about my condition. Awesome!
Out for money not to help patients with catracts. Pushed new cataracts lens that Medicare doesn't cover. Office does not want to work with Medicare. Have to go for 2nd opinion, because of cost and not Medicare friendly for surgery.
Very poor surgical outcome during a routine cataract surgery . Dr. Ilyas said he "did bad math" (I had also had Lasik done years before) which left me with an eye that did not focus near or far. Now it costs me a lot of money for special reading glasses/distance glasses, and has been unsatisfactory with contact lenses (which was why I paid for lasik in the first place). When I asked for an appt to inquire about new techniques that could correct his error, I was told to pay $65 for an office
Went through a great deal of tests here and was rushed the entire time. Dr Ilyas advised me that I have narrow angle glaucoma and needed peripheral iridotomy. I am glad I got a second opinion since I do not have narrow angles at all. I have a thicker than normal cornea which can give increased IOP reading. Thanks for charging me all that money for nothing. Do not go to this place.
