Dr. Bendich, Katie & the entire staff at Washington University & BJH are wonderful. I had to travel a few hours each way for appointments & surgery. The trips were absolutely worth it! The process was smooth from my initial appointment with him, nurse coordinator, surgery evaluation, labs & xrays, pre-surgical admin staff, anesthesia staff & hospital nurses who all provided excellent care and were knowledgeable. Dr.Bendich performed my hip replacement surgery. Both he and his support team did an excellent job. The communication from the beginning all the way through recovery was wonderful. During post-op Dr. Bendich and his team sent daily texts to check on improvement and give suggestions and tips on recovery. I would recommend Dr. Bendich and his staff to anyone needing hip replacement surgery .
I had total knee replacement surgery. Everything turned out great . Very few issues and the almost daily text messages from the surgery team helped a lot . It gave me step by step what to expect.,For as 3 months . I would recommend Dr Bendich and his team to anyone thinking about knee replacement.
If you're looking for a really caring orthopedic surgeon I highly recommend Dr IIya bendich. I have truly enjoyed the text messages it's a good reminder every day of what to expect and not expecting what to do and my hospital experience was awesome everybody's so sweet and nice and very helpful and by all means the food was really good at the hospital.
