Both of my kids (6 and 3) have been here since they were 18 months old. I highly recommend without any hesitation. They follow the Montessori philosophy pretty closely and all the materials and classroom environment is setup to empower my kids to develop independence and a love of learning. We have an 8 month old in the Nido classroom and a 21 month old in the Toddler room - both have been attending Guidepost since 5 months old when I returned to work after maternity leave. We've been very happy with Guidepost - both the school systems and the individual classroom teachers. In both Nido and Toddler, classroom leads have helped with each of our kids' big transitions (solids, changing nap schedules, verbal communication, independent eating...) and given me a lot of concrete ideas to try at home, too. My toddler absolutely loves going to this school. He has made many friends and learned so many skills, including toilet learning before he was 2! All the teachers and staff are absolutely incredible, thoughtful, and go above and beyond to make the school safe, fun and the perfect environment for learning. He wakes up excited to go which makes me feel good about having to be away from him while I work. I highly recommend Guidepost to anyone considering. It is definitely the best Montessori school in the city. Ms. Nicole, HOS, is a seasoned Montessori leader, and 100% lead teachers are Montessori trained and certified with accredited programs. This is an exceptional school. Children love coming to school and families trust everyone here. `Kindergarten program at this school is top quality.
