I would give this hospital a 2 star rating. I would not ever leave a loved one in this facility. I would not bring an animal I cared about to this hospital for carw. I will fill in the details later it is long.
Arrived at 10:30 as requested for day surgery. Prepped at 11:30. It’s now 2:30 - haven’t had an aide or nurse check on us once since prepped. Many people at the nurses desk - no one has offered any explanation for the delay - I’m not going to ask, I shouldn’t have to. Tried calling patient representative- no answer. EDIT: Patient Rep quickly reached out to me to advise that surgery/nursing mgmt. had been made aware of my experience and were acting to improve patient experience. My husband was just rudely turned away for having lab work done because it's a holiday. He fasted for these labs. No one said he couldn't come on a holiday and being that it's a hospital and they are never closed, he didnt think it would be a problem. Fortunately St. Margaret's Hospital was happy to help and draw his labs. Morris Hospital or St. Margaret's Hospital will get our business from now on. I honestly don't even know how IVCH stays open.

My experience with Dr Goldberg tonight was beyond horrible. Ive been seen prior and followed orders to go to the ER if symptoms worsen. Well they did so I called the hotline # they said come in.. long story short. Goldberg told me unless I was severe and he means as in turning blue then don't come in the the hospital and expose others. This was after they informed me to come in..
