I have had a great time here so far this year. I really enjoy the room setup and the amenities provides.
Awesome living space love living here
I am really enjoying living here. I talked to a few people who lived here before I moved in and I got mixed reviews about the place. I think a lot of the complaints are from people who have never lived on their own before. Whenever you live in apartment complex it is never going to be totally quiet! You really can't beat the location and If you're on a higher floor you have a really good view. The movie theater and the game room are really nice. I would say come and look around and decide for yourself.
Thus far I have enjoyed my stay at IT and through the process of being an IT guide I met a lot of great people. So far it's a great place to stay to my knowledge, it's a very clean building unlike most apartments and dorms around the campus and most of the staff are very polite and helpful. It is also within reasonable walking distance of the main quad and if you need to go farther there are bus stops not to far from here.
I really like IT. The food is great, especially brunch on the weekends. I think how social the building is depends on the floor but the people are generally friendly and the RAs are really nice. I definitely think its one of the best private dorms for what you're getting. The new game room is great. And we get a bunch of dorm events, with free prizes.
I am very happy living at Illini Tower. I absolutely love the food here. I can tell you that I have no problem studying in my dorm room because everyone is courteous in keeping the volume down in the building. I would definitely recommend this building as a home away from home for other new college students (and for those who are not freshman anymore).
Rooms are very nice. My nephews stayed there a year and my son did a summer program there. IT is gorgeous however my son wanted to have the traditional experience and stay in the six pack. He loves it. If it were me, I would be at IT.
I haven't been living here for long, but in comparison to other option in the area, this place is fantastic. It's set up like an apartment with a kitchen and living room so I don't feel like a refugee in a one room cell. I do share the bedroom, but it's laid out so we aren't in each others space. Plus! I get air conditioning! It's an older building, but I know they reciently put a lot of money into updating it and it shows. The washing machines that can text you when your laundry is done are pretty high tech and I'm learning... read more
loved it. would like to stay longer, but graduation calls. really like the new game room and movie theatre. food was plentiful and menu changed alot. new manager came in and is friendly. I would stay here again.
