I stayed at a studio managed by Illium in Troy, NY. The location was clean, the neighbors were friendly, and the property management team was responsive and punctual when informed about maintenance needs and other requests. I thought the price was very fair ($750 as of 2025 for a studio in a good location with a good view), and the property was well maintained compared to many others in the area (though Troy has lots of old real estate, so your milage may vary). I had a good experience with Pawal the property manager. He was responsive to my calls. He made sure things were fixed and followed through on it. I would recommend illium properties to others.

We’ve rented two apartments with Paul, and the experience has always been excellent. Whenever we needed something fixed, they responded quickly and took care of it right away. The whole rental process was smooth, stress-free, and professional from start to finish. After more than a year of renting, I can confidently say this has been one of the best experiences we’ve had. Couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them!
Lived at one of their homes for almost 3 years. We'll kept, respectful and most importantly- there when you needed them and not in your hair when you didn't. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.
